Yzabelle is absolutely amazing From the minute we came in until we left it was a great ambiance. This is our second time here the food and service is always absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back again and hopefully we can get the same waitress. By the way, the mussels in the white wine sauce to die for

Great little cute little spot on River road. Me and my girlfriend stumbled across it while searching for a place to eat, and definitely enjoyed it! 2 floors and a rooftop bar, perfect for summer atmosphere. Waiters were all attentive and gave great recommendations, will definitely be visiting more!

Metropolis 96 River St. Hoboken, NJ 07030 Braised Short Ribs Lava Cake This restaurant is conveniently located in the lower section of Hoboken, conveniently minutes away from the Hoboken Train Terminal. Although there is a beautiful outdoor rooftop bar, I dined in the main dining area because the menu options are different. Braised Short Ribs: The tender, juicy meat was smothered in red wine sauce. The mashed potatoes and carrots were the backbone to this plate (Ironically, there wasn’t a bone with this entree.) Lava Cake: Although it is in the shape of a muffin, it still has the taste of a warm chocolate cake. It blends well with vanilla ice cream. This dessert would have been better if the ice cream was firmer instead of melty. Although the blueberries were a nice decorative touch, this type of fruit did not go well with the dessert. Overall, the meal was pretty good and when the weather gets warmer I am really looking forward to dining on the upper level to get breathtaking views of the city while sipping cocktails. #metropolis #metropolishoboken #hobokennj #rooftopbar #lavacake #braisedshortribs #downtownhoboken

I recently dined at Metropolis in Hoboken, NJ and had an amazing experience. I started with the octopus, which was cooked perfectly tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. For my entrée, I ordered the short beef rib, and it was absolutely delicious rich, juicy, and full of flavor in every bite. From the presentation to the taste, everything was on point. I’ll definitely be back!
